File Sharing Article
From the article written in October 2012, it is clear to see
how much of an impact file sharing has in our everyday lives. 54% said they illegally
downloaded or streamed music was because it was free. It’s clear to tell that
file sharing has given everyone the opportunity to not spend anything on music
and by the other percentages; it’s easy to see that it’s quick and more convenient
for people to get. As it’s quicker and more convenient to get there is no point
in going to shops to buy music as we can get it for free using file sharing and
it’s easier to put on our devices.
The second article written in 2013 proves just how easy it
is to get music through file sharing. The fact that most music wouldn’t be illegally
downloaded if it wasn’t free, illustrates how dependant people have gotten to getting
free music through file sharing and not having to pay has made it that much
more convenient for us. The articles suggests that if file sharing wasn’t about,
majority of people would not go to shops to buy music as they have become so dependent
on getting music for free.
